Barry New Sports Editor

A junior journalism major and member of R-N's star volleyball team will take over as Sports editor beginning this week.
Katie Barry, 21, who hails from Ohio, started this semester at R-N after transfering from Marietta College in Ohio.
Last fall semester she studied in in Florence, Italy.
Barry is a self-declared sports junkie who roots for the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and Fiorentina Soccer.
She has played on college volleyball and softball teams, and swam in high school.
Currently she is interning with her twin sister, Kristy, at Sports Illustrated.
Her mission is to "bring an educated edge to the Sports section."
Barry takes over for senior writer Wayne Goldberg who steps down as editor to focus on his last year of studies.
