Rutgers-Newark held its semesterly De-Stress Fest from Dec. 7 to Dec. 22.

De-Stress Fest helps students cope with the stress of the final exams through activities designed to give them a break from study sessions, a campus spokesperson said.

The range of activities included extended hours for swimming at the Golden Dome, free yoga and meditation workshops, a complimentary midnight pancake breakfast at Stonsby Commons, and counseling services.

Students could also get free, five-minute back massages from licensed therapists at the campus center and in Stonsby Commons.

Campus psychological services distributed care packages that included hot cocoa, herb tea, and pencils.

The campus center "All Nighter" from Dec. 15 through Dec. 21 offered free coffee and snacks.
