(Jan. 14) - Senior forward Erin Frank dropped in a pair of free throws with time expired to boost The College of New Jersey to a 52-51 New Jersey Athletic Conference women's basketball victory over Rutgers-Newark in The Golden Dome.

Frank, who finished with 10 points and nine rebounds, went to the line after a whistle blew at the buzzer as she attempted to pull the basketball out of a swarm of players following a missed shot. After a conference among the officials, Frank was awarded a shooting foul instead of a one-and-one. She swished the first free throw before she rattled in second attempt.

The game was tied 10 times and the lead changed hands 11 times in the tight battle.

Sophomore forward Toni Roselli, who finished with a game-high 17 points, put the Raiders ahead for the final time with a lay-up with 1:41 left to make it 51-50. The Lions (9-4, NJAC 6-2) failed to score on their next two possessions before a Rutgers-Newark (9-5, NJAC 4-4) turnover with 25 seconds left gave TCNJ the final possession.

Junior forward Megan Hueter tied Frank for team scoring honors with 10 points while senior center Danica Miller and sophomore guard Sara Best chipped in eight points apiece. Best also had a game-high four steals.

Freshman guard Youngor Kehleay added a dozen points and three assists for Rutgers-Newark while sophomore forward Eni Fageyinbo tallied 10 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals. Senior center Christyal Anderson hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds and added eight points.
