After the game in which Rutgers dominated Jersey City in front of a full crowd, I spoke with Mark Washington, a stand-out 6-2 senior from East Orange, New Jersey, about the crowd's effect on the game, what was the most frustrating about the fall-out, and which Raider was the monkey they could not shake off their back.
What was most irritating about the game?
Our defense sucked. We couldn't get it together. We came here expecting to win, and didn't.
What did you think of the group of goons a.k.a 'the men's volleyball team' up in the stands?
They were off the hook! We need fans like that…
Who gave you the most trouble in the Rutgers line-up?
Chadd Barnes. He's good.
