(Feb. 4) - In a critical matchup Saturday, Richard Stockton's Ospreys crushed the Scarlet Raiders, with a final score of 68-50.
Justin Carter turned in another noteworthy performance, scoring 16 points and marking down seven boards and two assists. But his right-hand man, Jermont Horton was held to just eight points and Chadd Barnes, to nine.
As a whole, R-N missed 11 of 14 three-point attempts and made just 38.8 percent of their field goals while the Ospreys poured in 50 percent of their shots with four players reaching double digits.
Defensively, Chinedu Ibeh boxed out for six rebounds in his second game back but Stockton claimed nine steals, three blocked shots, and just one rebound short of the R-N total.
The loss extends the Scarlet Raider's losing streak to two games and they are now tied with Ramapo for fourth place in the NJAC. R-N hosts Ramapo this Wednesday in the Golden Dome at 7:30 p.m., for a crucial head-to-head with four games remaining before the league playoffs.
