(Feb. 11) - The R-N men's basketball team just couldn't get it together Saturday, and suffered a 62-50 loss at The College of New Jersey.
Chadd Barnes led R-N scorers with 14 points while Chinedu Ibeh chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds. Freshman David Cherry added eight points to the mix and contributed seven rebounds for Rutgers-Newark.
Two Raiders fouled out with three others holding in the game with four each. TCNJ stayed clear of foul trouble, with no player reaching above three.
The R-N record declines to 16-7 overall and 9-7 in the NJAC (tied for 5th place). One home game remains this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., with a Senior Night ceremony before the game.
