Over the two-day two-match span, Eric Honsberger hammered out 13 kills in both contests, as well as nabbing 13 digs, 30 points, and six blocks, making him without a shadow of doubt or any second-guessing, the Player of the Week.

If you could be any superhero, who would you be?
Mr. Incredible. I've been told I have similar attributes, i.e. muscles/facial features.

We are close but we do our own things.  We have seen so much of each other since we were young that we still get sick of each other sometimes.  Like any other teamates we have disagreements on the court.  But we know how to work with each other and take the feedback we give each other as positive.

I have always loved volleyball.  Along with an excellent business program how could you pass up getting a Division I scholarship?  I really liked what Coach Byron had to offer and thought my volleyball career could really grow under his coaching ability. Fitting in was very easy with Brian here first.

What are your interests off the court?
I enjoy a nice pair of slacks ("Anchorman" quote)...I am obsessed with "Mario Kart". I am very active in my church, and a huge Buffalo Sabres/Bills fan. I am going to visit my beautiful, amazing girlfriend in the fall, and hosting her when she visits me in the spring.

What are your Spring Break plans?
Playing Cal Baptist, # 4 Long Beach and # 2 BYU in California.

Where is your favorite place in the world to be?
I'd have to say Emerald Isle, NC.  I went there over the summer with my girlfriend... Actually, anywhere with my girlfriend, hopefully Hawaii someday.

What's the team chemistry like, on and off the floor?
It's the best since I've been here.  We are a close group of guys that love to play vball and hang out off the court.  We obviously have to pick up whatever we are doing on the court right now, because it is not good enough.

Would you rather be a small fish in a big pond or a big fish in a small pond?
I would rather be a small fish in a big pond because then you always have room to grow and improve on things.  A big fish in a small pond can never grow and get any better.
