The most diverse college campus indeed.
The 2006 Rutgers-Newark World Week Festival took place on April 5, showing off a myriad of cultures, food and music.
Student organizations like South Asian dance troupe JOSH, Latinos United Networking America, the West Indian Student Association, the Indian Students Association, A.S.I.A. and the Organization of African Students participated in the event sponsored by the Office of Student Life and Leadership.
Kerra Hunter, WISA vice president, said that their organization chose to participate because it was "an effective way to introduce the wider school community to traditional Caribbean dishes," she said.
"It served as a display of the diversity of organizations available in the school community for students to take an interest in."
