The problem with off the wall conspiracy theorists like the one discussed in this paper, and the one presented in films like "Loose Change" is that they waste all of that energy just fueling arguments for the Right- namely, that all conspiracies are wacky products of the paranoid; and that all leftists are therefore delusional and wacky.
While these 9-11 theorists argue back and forth ad nauseum about missing debris and heating temperatures of metal, the real, overall conspiracy is neglected.
The real conspiracy, after all ,is still occurring- an illegal war and occupation for profit, the privatization of the military, the subversion of our civil liberties- these were and all are the conspiracies of a neoconservative-corporate takeover of America.
Back in '97 when Cheney was quoted as saying that all the PNAC needed "is our Pearl Harbor," he knew that they didn't have to create one.
Cheney is supremely evil but he is far from stupid. He knew that with the hatred and misery American corporate interests generally create worldwide, a terrorist attack had to happen eventually.
Stop playing into the conservatives hands by fabricating insignificant, meaningless theories- the true conspiracy is real and horrific enough.
